Grumpiness- The Middle Way.

Shallow temperate seas
It Makes me tremble and sneeze
Hachoo...excuse me.

It is a well known fact that life in America can be harsh, physically and mentally. In the dark months we can do little to fend off the winter worm. She bores and breads ill, waiting for the next lonely night to hatch her young. Centuries had passed with her unspoken presence being defended against with the middle way. Then Science and song writers invented the winter blues and Seasonal Affective Disorder. Thus, a jubilee and a half a score have passed since we have forgotten how to defend against her.  This generation will cope no longer. A return to tradition has begun.

Grumpiness; lethal if not languid, ineffective if sardonic.

This, I believe.

Abbie, your wisdom is only matched by your beauty. I don't know why I'm writing this. I guess, just, to say hello.

Dear Abigail:

Your second line has
Only six syllables; so
not a true haiku.
